Tattoo Aftercare

Wash your tattoo with warm water and scent free antibacterial soap. Pat dry with a clean paper towel. Repeat 2-3 times a day.

Apply very thin amounts of Aquaphor or scent free lotion (like lubriderm) after washing or when your tattoo feels dry. Make sure to do so with clean hands.

Do not submerge your tattoo in water (or sauna), and avoid excess sweating for two weeks. Avoid direct sun exposure for two weeks. Avoid sunscreen on your tattoo until after these two weeks of healing.

With in a few days your tattoo will become itchy and flake slightly. Avoid scratching or picking at your tattoo.

Continue your aftercare for two weeks.

If your tattoo shows signs of infection such as fever, discharge and excessive redness, please seek medical attention.

For aftercare with Saniderm follow instructions above after these steps..

Remove bandage in the shower after 24-48 hrs. (You can shower with the bandage on)

Fluid build up under bandage is normal. Burning and redness is not, so if you feel adverse effects remove Sanidermpromptly under warm water.

Then begin above aftercare instructions.
